上半期の終わりを迎える夏の夕暮れ、新大久保から歌舞伎町にかけて夜のお散歩をしてきました。2025年は例年よりも暑くなるのが早く、大都会・新宿の夜はすでにオーバーヒート気味。熱気に包まれた、暑い暑い夜でした。
イケメン通りに立つ女の子たち、大久保公園付近にたむろする異国の女性たち――昨年の「女子一斉摘発」から約1年が経ち、あのエリアには再び日本の女の子たちの姿も多く見られるようになっています。
花道通りには多国籍な人々が集まり、異国ムード満載。歌舞伎町一番街の呼び込み女子たちも、どこか誇らしげに声を張り上げ、街は活気に満ちています。
2025年、夏。歌舞伎町の熱い季節が、再び始まろうとしています。

At dusk, at the end of the first half of the summer, I took a night walk from Shin-Okubo to Kabukicho. In 2025, it got hotter than usual, and the nights in the big city of Shinjuku are already overheating. It was a hot, hot night, wrapped in heat.
