新大久保イケメン通り
メーンストリートの職安通りと大久保通りを結ぶ細い路地が、新たな流行の発信地となりつつある。特に、職安通りのドン・キホーテ新宿店横の細い路地は、「イケメン通り」や「新大久保の竹下通り」と呼ばれ、ここ数カ月で新規出店が相次いでいる。飲食店などの韓国人男性店員が宣伝のために立っていることから、イケメン通りと呼ばれるようになった。
Shin-Okubo Handsome Street
A narrow alley connecting Shokuan-dori, the main street, and Okubo-dori, is becoming a new fashion trend. In particular, the narrow alley next to the Don Quijote Shinjuku store on Shokuan-dori is called “Ikemen-dori” or “Takeshita-dori in Shin-Okubo”, and new stores have been opening one after another in recent months. It is called Ikemen Street because of the Korean male shopkeepers who stand there to advertise.
